Security Officer

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting personnel, facilities, property, and operations within a dynamic and mission-focused environment. Security Officers serve as first responders to incidents and emergencies, perform patrol and access control duties, enforce security policies, and help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

• →Patrol assigned facilities and grounds to help ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. 
• →Respond to emergencies, incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance. 
• →Monitor and control access to facilities and restricted areas. 
• →Conduct security inspections, investigations, and routine checks of buildings, vehicles, and property. 
• →Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and documentation. 
• →Interact professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and public safety personnel. 
• →Enforce site security policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. 
• →Operate communication systems, security technology, and assigned equipment. 
• →Assist with traffic control, special events, and emergency response activities as needed. 
• →Maintain a high standard of professionalism, appearance, and readiness. 
• →Support mission continuity during emergencies and critical events. 
• →Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• Prior military, law enforcement, armed security, public safety, or related experience preferred. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and certifications. 
• Ability to successfully complete required firearms, physical fitness, medical, and background screening requirements. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in stressful situations. 
• Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and emergency assignments as needed.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military law enforcement, armed security, corrections, or law enforcement experience. 
• Current First Aid, CPR, or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 
• Experience operating in a security, emergency response, or public safety environment. 
• Prior experience conducting patrols, access control, or incident response activities.
