Position available for a full-time Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health) at Fort Gordon, adjacent to Augusta, Georgia, famous for its major attraction, The Masters Golf Tournament. Ft. Gordon has a moderate year-round climate and offers proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains. The Augusta area is a growing community with an excellent quality of life. A wide variety of cultural and outdoor recreational activities are readily available locally, and many more are easily accessible from the coast to the mountains. Augusta has a vibrant professional medical environment, including the Medical College of Georgia and other referral medical centers. Responsibilities

- →Make mental health diagnoses in accordance with the most recent version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) when differential diagnosis is required.
- →Provide individual and group treatment using evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- →Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- →Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- →Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- →Perform PCMH biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
- →Evaluate clinical records and monitors all objective instrument administration and scoring for quality assurance.
Requirements

Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
