About the Role
~1 min readDMI, LLC is seeking a Lead Network Architect to join us.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-level network architecture to support mission-critical government systems.
- →Define network standards, roadmaps, and modernization strategies aligned with federal security and performance requirements.
- →Lead cross-functional technical teams in network engineering efforts, including SD-WAN, IPv6, cloud connectivity, and zero-trust frameworks.
- →Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate secure network design principles
- →Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to leadership on improvements and innovations.
- →Ensure compliance with DHS, NIST, and FISMA guidelines in all network infrastructure deployments.
- →Serve as technical authority in vendor management, solution evaluations, and major incident response.
- →Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, design documentation, and executive briefings for internal and client stakeholders.

Requirements

- CCNP or CCIE certification strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and QoS policies
- 10+ years in enterprise network engineering and architecture
- Proficiency in Visio, Cisco DNA, NetScout, or similar tools
