Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Physical Therapist, you'll provide individualized rehabilitation services to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Evaluate residents' mobility, strength, balance, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
→
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based physical therapy treatment plans.
→
Help residents improve mobility, restore function, reduce fall risk, and maximize independence.
→
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and other appropriate interventions.
→
Collaborate with occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary care teams.
→
Educate residents and families on mobility strategies, safety, and continued progress.
→
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
→
Participate in care planning and discharge recommendations as appropriate.
→
Support a positive, patient-centered rehabilitation environment.

Requirements

Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure prior to employment.
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
