→Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of construction inspection experience, including 4 years of field inspection experience.
→Valid NICET Level III Highway Construction Inspection certification with a minimum of 6 years of construction inspection experience, including 4 years of field inspection experience.

Experience inspecting roadway, bridge, or transportation infrastructure construction projects.
Prior experience with CTDOT projects preferred.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, inspection procedures, and testing requirements.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Ability to perform construction quantity calculations and engineering computations.
Experience maintaining field inspection reports, construction records, and project documentation.
Willingness to work nights and weekends as project schedules require.
Valid driver’s license.
OSHA 30-hour safety training certification preferred, unless required by the project.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $150,000 per year. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
