Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 years relevant experience.

 

As a senior staff software engineer, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the next generation of embedded system security.

 

 

• Knowledge of C in embedded environments
• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
• Extensive knowledge with network protocols

 

• Knowledge of C in embedded environments
  • Bare bone software – no operating system
  • Memory map interfacing
  • Communication buses: SPI/QSPI, UART, I2C
  • JTAG – remote debug
  • PTP
  • Experience with developing against/within an FPGA
  • Polarfire, Versal, Kintex Ultrascale

• MBSE/SySML

  • Magic Draw Experience

  • Software Design as part of an MBSE initiative

• Knowledge of GitLab

  • Defining Runners

• Knowledge of Code coverage and static code analysis tools: Parasoft/CppCheck

• Network Protocols: RSTP, VLAN, PTP, etc

  • Auto Negotiation / Link Training

• Anti-Tamper/Security

• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges
• Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
• Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
