Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

 

 

As a Senior-Level Systems Engineer for CISR, you’ll be a lead member of cross-functional hardware and system design teams responsible for the realization of complex computing and communications systems. You’ll make substantial contributions to CONOPS, requirements definition, trade studies, performance analysis, design, integration, and verification of these systems.

• →Demonstrable experience with architecture development, requirements derivation, and suballocation.

• →Demonstrable experience with the cradle-to-grave life cycle of related products.

• →Understanding of communication transmission rates, formats, and waveforms.
• →Demonstrable experience with the design of complex systems and subsystems.

 

• Proficiency with System Modeling tools (e.g.Cameo/ MagicDraw).
• Hands-on lab experience with use of electronic test equipment.
• Background in electro-optics, including free-space communications.
• Experience with the design and development of high-speed mixed-signal electronics hardware and packaging.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
