Associate Distribution Specialist

Genus ABS is looking for reliable, customer-focused Associate Distribution Specialists across Carmarthenshire, UK areas  out of our Carmarthen site. If you enjoy working independently, take pride in delivering great customer service and have a full UK driving license, this could be a great fit. Previous delivery or logistics experience is useful, but not essential.

We are looking for people who are flexible, dependable, and willing to support colleagues as part of a wider distribution team. This may require travelling to & working in other geographical regions.

The salary for this role is £122 per day

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate delivery of liquid nitrogen and genetics products to our valued customers across a defined region. As a representative of Genus, you will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships by ensuring deliveries are completed on time, accurately, and professionally. You will be responsible for reporting any delivery discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to all health and safety requirements.

The successful candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, a professional approach, and a commitment to safe driving practices.

Essential

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable using mobile technology and digital systems

• Good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role

• Previous experience in a delivery, logistics, transport, or distribution role
• Experience using route planning or delivery management systems
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a delivery environment

• Monitor and identify goals for the reduction of our GHG emissions from our own operations.
• Drive porcine and bovine genetic improvements which support productivity gains and improve feed efficiency, enabling a reduction in the production of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per unit of milk or meat produced
• Identify facility and other opportunities for reductions in GHG emissions, consistent with our goals
• Partner and advocate for policies that advance positive climate goals and identified United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
