Hampton Lumber is a thriving family-owned company aspiring to be North America's preferred source for responsibly-sourced wood solutions. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, we operate nine sawmills in Western Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. We also manage timberland and operate a wholesale and import/export division.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team in a modern facility equipped with the latest technology in lumber manufacturing. We’re looking for skilled Millwrights to execute the commissioning, start-up, and continued reliability of a highly focused maintenance prevention program for Hampton Lumber.

• →Execute preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• →Diagnose mechanical issues and execute timely effective repairs
• →Collaborate with operations and all team members to improve equipment performance
• →Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• →Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations
• →Take full ownership of assigned tasks to Hampton’s maintenance standards
• →Willingness to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed for operations, commissioning, training, or start-up

• →Preventative and/or precision maintenance training
• →Wood product experience
• →Start-up experience
