Responsibilities

- →Receives and stocks medications
- →Prepares unit dose, bulk, and intravenous medications for dispensing
- →Pre-packages non-unit dose medications
- →Checks Pyxis inventory and refills medications in Pyxis units
- →Provides delivery of doses
- →Prepares IV Admixtures
- →Demonstrates thorough knowledge of patients' right to confidentiality
Requirements
~1 min read- Must have basic math skills
- National certification preferred or must be completed within one year
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
