Litigation Defense Attorney

The Fort Lauderdale, FL office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing litigation team.

• →Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• →Draft and respond to written discovery
• →Take and defend depositions
• →Prepare, draft, and argue motions
• →Participate in court appearances, status conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and other litigation proceedings
• →Develop case strategy and manage day-to-day litigation responsibilities
• →Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic counsel and regular case updates
• →Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice groups on complex and challenging matters
• →Assist with trial preparation and other high-stakes litigation activities

• Admission to practice law in Florida required
• 3-4+ years of litigation (Employment, Professional Liability, and/or HOA) experience
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational, case management, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to assume increasing responsibility

• Experience handling Employment, Professional Liability, and/or HOA litigation matters.
• Experience handling depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
• Experience managing matters independently
