At Kyowa Kirin International, we're looking for a talented Security Engineer to help enhance and defend our enterprise network, data centre, and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role where you'll work alongside infrastructure and security teams to reduce cyber risk, improve resilience, and respond to evolving threats.

Responsibilities

→ Design, implement and optimise security controls across network and cloud environments.
→ Manage and improve firewall, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.
→ Identify security weaknesses and drive remediation activities.
→ Support incident response and security investigations.
→ Improve infrastructure logging, monitoring, and threat detection capabilities.
→ Partner with global teams to strengthen security standards and best practices.

Requirements

3-5 years' experience in Security Engineering, Network Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong knowledge of firewalls, networking, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
Experience securing enterprise infrastructure and virtualised environments.
Understanding of cyber attack techniques and defensive controls.
Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is desirable.
Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
A proactive problem-solver with a security-first mindset and strong collaboration skills.
