• →Registered Dietitian or Registered Nurse (BSN preferred).
• →Completion of 30 hours of continuing education in diabetes education principles in prior two years.

• Minimum two years of experience in diabetes education in acute care or ambulatory care setting.

• Basic familiarity with computers preferred.

• Applicable state licensure.
• Certified Diabetes Educator preferred; certification required within 2 years of employment.
