Manager Food Services

As a manager of food services, you will oversee a team dedicated to providing excellent meals to our patients and customers. You will help to maintain this high level of service through your outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills and your knowledge of the general principles and practices of food service. Bachelors degree in Restaurant Administration, Home Economics, Food Nutrition, or related field or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in food and nutrition services. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Thorough knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management and work-flow planning, food production systems, menu planning and financial planning.

Strong communication and leadership skills, and a willingness to lead by example. Ability to organize, plan and implement services. Understanding of CQI process and the ability to initiate change. Strong skills in development, training and motivation of personnel. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
