We have an opportunity available for a Specialised Counsellor to join the team at Beacon based in Stockport, SK1 3DL.

Salary: £16.97 per hour

Hours: 12 per week (10 clinicial and 2 admin)

Responsibilities

You will deliver one-to-one face-to-face counselling sessions maintaining high professional standards and working within recognised ethical frameworks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

→Delivering one-to-one counselling sessions to adult clients
→Completing client assessments and maintaining accurate case records
→Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
→Participate in supervision, training and continuing professional development
→Work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and professional standards

Requirements

Successful candidates must hold a minimum Level 4 Diploma in Counselling/Psychotherapy and be registered with BACP.

Experience delivering one-to-one counselling and qualified in EMDR and training in Couples counselling is essential for this role.
