The Quality Support Specialist plays a key role in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System by administering document control processes, supporting employee training compliance, managing quality records, and assisting with audit readiness activities. This position serves as the primary resource for document control and Learning Management System (LMS) support, helping ensure that employees have access to current procedures, required training is completed, and quality system records are maintained accurately and efficiently. The role also provides administrative and technical support for quality initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and compliance activities across the facility.

  • Serves as the primary facility resource for document control processes and compliance.
  • Administers and maintains the Learning Management System (LMS) from a Quality perspective.
  • Coordinates document revisions, approvals, releases, and record retention activities.
  • Assigns, tracks, and reports on required employee training and compliance status.
  • Supports internal and external audit preparation, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintains quality records and ensures documentation is accurate, current, and easily accessible.
  • Assists with quality projects, investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partners with departments across the facility to support quality system requirements and compliance.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve document control, training effectiveness, and audit readiness.
  • High School degree or GED preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or prior quality experience preferred
  • Enjoy flexibility and have strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
