• →Hire, train and lead housekeeping and /or laundry team
• →Develop and maintain department schedule to ensure adequate staffing
• →Performs periodic inspections of the building and grounds to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols
• →Collaborate with other staff members to address resident needs and maintain a safe and clean environment
• →Ensures all facility policies and procedures are followed and updated as needed
• →Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in institutional housekeeping and laundry services
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control, fire prevention and safety measures in long-term care are highly valued but not required; training will be provided
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
