Team Leader - Warehouse

Provide departmental support and lead the staff in the Warehouse department.

• →Coordinate and lead warehouse activities on a daily basis under the direction of Warehouse operation management
• →Responsible for the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product within the Company’s standard operating procedures
• →Monitor inbound and outbound activities
• →Support staff as needed in performing job functions such as storing, picking, packing, shipping and receiving
• →Maintain product location system and ensure optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation
• →Assist in inventory control
• →Promote the efficient and safe operation of product handling equipment
• →Participate in implementing work schedules and ensuring that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
• →Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner
• →With the guidance of the Supervisor, conduct general staff training
• →Ensure staff is compliant with company policies
• →Handle other job assignments as determined by the direct Supervisor

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, distribution and/or transportation
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills
• Strong teamwork skills and inclination
• Good communications skill – listening providing and receiving feedback
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Good computer skills- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects in a warehouse setting.

Will work with all levels in the organization.
