At Piedmont Walton, our Imaging Technologists play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic care. Using a variety of advanced imaging modalities under the supervision of board-certified radiologists, our technologists support clinical decision-making across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. From routine X-rays to complex diagnostic procedures, we serve patients across the lifespan with professionalism, precision, and compassion.

 

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited imaging program and hold appropriate certification and BLS credentials. This is a dynamic and collaborative environment where flexibility is essential—rotating holidays and on-call shifts are part of the team structure. Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
