Supervises daily dietary services operations, including planning, preparation, serving, distribution, and sanitation activities on assigned shift. Serves as resource to staff, communicates processes and procedures, and facilitates appropriate training.

Manage Daily Operations: Keep the kitchen running smoothly, oversee all cooking stations, and step in to cook when a station falls behind or a worker is absent.

Staff Supervision and Training: Delegate tasks, coach cooks, teach new techniques, and enforce discipline and teamwork.

Quality Control: Inspect dishes for correct taste, texture, portion size, and presentation before they leave the kitchen.

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

• 2 years of experience in food services/operations within healthcare, education, dining, or related field Required
• 1 year of leadership experience Preferred

• SAFE Serve Certification ServSafe certification Upon Hire Required
