• →Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all age groups.
• →Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• →Maintains competencies in all non-scanner related components.
• →Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• →Follows ACR and Piedmont guidelines.
• →Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• →Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
• →Demonstrates continued quality improvement and proficiency in all required skills.

• an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT

• No experience required 
• 1 year of experience preferred

• ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire required
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS), or ARDMS
