RD/LDN - Pediatric Registered Dietitian

$32.00 - $42.00 / Hour

 

Most of the 50 children who live at PSC Philadelphia are medically fragile, and many are fed by G-tube or J-tube. Every formula you choose, every calorie you adjust and every growth trend you catch shapes how they grow, heal and thrive. Here, the dietitian is a core member of the care team, not an afterthought.

• $32 - $42/hour, with more for pediatric and nutrition support experience

• →Complete nutrition assessments and nutrition-focused physical exams for children with complex medical needs
• →Develop and adjust enteral and oral nutrition plans, including formula selection, calorie and fluid needs, and feeding schedules
• →Monitor growth, labs, weight trends and tolerance, and update plans as each child's needs change
• →Partner with nursing, physicians, speech/feeding therapy and families on feeding goals and progression
• →Document using the Nutrition Care Process, and meet Academy standards and Pennsylvania regulations
• →Participate in care plan meetings and quality improvement, and educate staff and families on nutrition and feeding safety

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential from CDR, or eligible (new grads welcome)
• Pennsylvania LDN, or ability to obtain within [6 months] of hire
• Pediatric, enteral nutrition or nutrition support experience preferred, not required. We'll help you grow.
• CNSC is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication and a genuine love of working with children and families
