Electrical Engineer

Provides electrical engineering, technical, and process engineering support for facility and melting operations.

• →Reviews engineering logs, production performance, and data to troubleshoot operational questions and problems.
• →Provides electrical and automation repairs and improvements.
• →Design level understanding of Low, Medium, and High Voltage control and distribution.
• →Responsible for documentation such as print updates, procedures, maintenance reports, etc.
• →Makes improvements by modifying automation, electrical and mechanical systems as well as recommending changes to the process.
• →Provides engineering design, changes, implementation, and capital projects.
• →Act as a technical resource for operators regarding operation and functionality of equipment.
• →Plan and execute maintenance down periods.

Required: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Strong project management skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Good understanding of closed loop control systems
• Maintenance experience preferred · Proficient in automation, AC drives, process controls, Siemens PLCs and software is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure timeliness.
