Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Identifies, prospects and contacts potential clients to educate them on energy trading and risk management.
- →Build a book of business consisting of consultancy program income as well as energy futures trade income.
- →Analyzes individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks.
- →Attends trade conferences, seminars and symposiums to represent products, increase contact with existing client base and identify new opportunities.
- →Executes futures, options and Swaps that support energy risk management strategies.
- →Educate and inform customers of hedge opportunities
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Finance, Economics, or related field to include Business Management
- Obtain Series 3 License within 60 days of hire (company sponsored)
- Minimum 3 years of finance experience
- Time management skills. Should be able to work well under pressure managing several time sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills
- Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across all levels
- Effective presentation and marketing skills
- Ability to learn technical products and explain complex products in clear, simplified terms to prospective clients
- 3 years of experience in the energy industry and knowledge of crude oil, diesel, gasoline, and/or propane markets.
- Background in fuel distribution, petroleum marketing, refining, supply and trading, energy procurement, commercial energy sales, or financial analysis
- Risk management experience
- Full time/5x a week in office
- Ability to travel
