Mover - Floater

· Lifts, carries, and loads furniture weighing up to 100 pounds onto box trucks for transport to and from NASA HQ locations.

· Delivers and sets-up furniture as required/requested within committed time frames including furniture, equipment, and appliances.

· Responds to inquiries and requests in a professional manner.

· Provides problem-solving solutions when necessary.

· Demonstrates the ability to protect all items being transported and removed from damage through established best safety practices.

· Packs and unpacks items in an organized and efficient manner.

· Performs Executive Driver duties not requiring secret level security clearance when all drivers are performing simultaneous trips to minimize potential overtime costs.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

· Minimum Education: High Diploma.

· Minimum Experience: Entry Level. 1-3 years of experience as a Mover-Driver.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Eligibility to obtain NASA Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
