• →Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• →Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• →Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
• →Provides advice on performance tuning and training to end-users.
• →Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems.
• →Maintains database integrity and security, configures role-based access control (RBAC), and sets up administrative accounts.
• →Sets up administrator and service accounts.
• →Maintain documentation for configurations, standards, and procedures.
• →Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• →Evaluates open-source or vendor tools and participates in database migration/special modernization projects.
• →Collaborate with developers on schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• →Plan and execute database upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• →Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
• 5 + years of related database analysis and/or administration experience

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent recommended.
• Intelligence Community Experience preferred

• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $113,000-$139,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
