University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

• This is a unique opportunity for an a PET Technologist to be part of our opening team and help build a high-quality, patient focused service from the ground up! 
• Our PET Technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment, such as PET  scanners, to create images of the body's internal functions and structures. 
• Key responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive drugs to patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining equipment and radiation safety protocols. 

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

• NJDEP State License and CPR Certification 
• A minimum of two years experience
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification 
• Siemens Biographe PET/CT experience preferred
•  NMTCB/CT for Fusion Modality preferred

From $58/hr

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
