The Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives that drive measurable improvements in margin, productivity, and operational performance. Reporting into the Transformation organization, this role will be responsible for converting strategic priorities into executable projects, managing complex, multi-workstream initiatives, and ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, and benefits targets.
This role serves as the primary owner of project structure, cadence, governance, and execution discipline—ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, risks are actively managed, and outcomes are clearly measured and reported.
This role offers a hybrid-remote work arrangement; however, we are prioritizing candidates based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end project management for large-scale transformation initiatives, from initiation through delivery and benefits realization.

Develop and maintain detailed, integrated project plans including scope, milestones, dependencies, resourcing, risks, and critical paths.

Establish and manage project governance structures, including operating rhythms, steering committees, decision forums, and escalation paths.

Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent workstreams across functions to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.

Actively manage scope, timeline, and resource trade-offs, escalating issues and recommending corrective actions as needed.
Delivery Track & Performance Management

Define clear project objectives, success criteria, KPIs, and benefits realization plans in partnership with Finance and business leaders.

Track progress against timelines, deliverables, and financial targets, ensuring early identification of delays, cost overruns, or scope risks.

Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive-ready status reports.

Facilitate regular reviews to assess progress, resolve blockers, and drive accountability to commitments.

Lead post‑implementation reviews to validate results and capture lessons learned.
Cross-Functional Coordination

Lead cross-functional project teams spanning Operations, Finance, Sales, IT, HR, and other enabling functions.

Serve as the central point of coordination across teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

Drive issue resolution through structured problem-solving, dependency management, and escalation when required.

Ensure alignment between business owners, technical teams, and leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Change Enablement & Adoption Support

Partner with change management and communications resources to support rollout planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking.

Ensure project plans incorporate change readiness activities, cutover planning, and sustainment milestones.

Track adoption metrics and operational readiness to ensure delivered solutions translate into realized business value.
Requirements

8–12+ years of experience in program or project management roles, with a focus on large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated success managing multi-workstream programs with defined schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
Strong command of project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience developing detailed project plans, managing dependencies, and driving execution rigor.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance metrics and financial impacts.
Preferred
PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certification.
Experience managing transformation or operational improvement programs in industrial, construction, electrical, or asset-intensive environments.
Hands-on experience coordinating technology-enabled initiatives (ERP, CRM, CPQ, or reporting systems).
Experience working in decentralized or multi-site organizations.
