Animal Care Center at Cherry Way is a busy four-doctor veterinary hospital offering grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare alongside full medical care. We’re looking for a skilled, caring Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team part-time.

A part-time schedule. About 15 hours a week, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts and Saturday morning rotations.
Hands-on clinical work. As a Veterinary Assistant here, you’ll help with exams, treatments, surgeries, lab work, and radiographs.
A full-service hospital. Our four-doctor practice also offers grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare, so no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

→Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and surgeries
→Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs
→Monitor patients throughout their care
→Administer medications and vaccines as directed
→Communicate with clients about patient care and home instructions
→Keep the hospital clean, organized, and equipment ready

Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.

Veterinary experience preferred
Strong technical skills with lab work, radiographs, and patient monitoring
A dependable, detail-oriented approach
A positive attitude and team-player mindset
A passion for animals and client service
Availability for Saturday morning rotations
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required
