As a Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside our veterinarians and support team. Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.

Take patient histories and perform initial assessments
Perform venipuncture and collect samples
Run in-house lab work and take radiographs
Administer treatments and provide hands-on patient care
Support surgery and dentistry procedures
Monitor anesthesia and help keep surgical patients safe
Educate clients on care plans, home care, and discharge instructions
Keep patients comfortable, calm, and safe throughout their visit
Share rotating cat-care responsibilities as needed

Experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant in a small animal practice
Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required. Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) and experienced veterinary assistants are encouraged to apply.
