The Department of Pediatrics is recruiting for a Clinical Research Assistant that is bilingual in English and Spanish.

The Clinical Research Assistant will support the READY Trial, a five-year, NIH-funded randomized controlled trial in the Listos: School Readiness Lab. The lab is focused on research to engage Latino parents and providers in novel ways to promote school readiness in pediatrics. The trial studies a school readiness coaching program in pediatric primary care for Latino families with preschool-aged children. The CRA will be based primarily at Hillsboro Pediatrics and will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.

Duties include supporting participant recruitment, enrollment, child and parent level data collection (in-person with 3-4 year old children), and data entry; working with study participants in English and Spanish; and assisting with study materials, documentation, and other research activities as assigned. They will attend team meetings on-site at OHSU at least once a week.

We are seeking a candidate with educational or work experience in early childhood education, pediatrics, or child development that inform your skills to conduct child development assessments.  Prior work with underserved communities is particularly desirable.
