Database Engineer Lead - AVP

Join Delta Capita's Report Hub team and help shape the future of regulatory reporting technology used by leading global financial institutions. We are seeking an experienced Database Engineering Lead (AVP) to drive the performance, stability and scalability of our Azure-based data platform. The role combines hands-on database engineering, cloud technologies and technical leadership.

  Lead the design, optimisation and operation of Report Hub's database platforms.

• →

  Drive performance tuning, resilience, automation and cloud adoption initiatives.

• →

  Support high-volume, business-critical production environments.

• →

  Lead incident resolution and continuous improvement activities.

• →

  Mentor engineers and act as the senior escalation point for database-related matters.

• →

  Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture and Support teams to deliver a scalable, secure platform.

• Extensive SQL Server and Azure SQL experience.

• Strong database administration, architecture and performance tuning expertise.

• Experience with Azure, DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

• Proven technical leadership experience within complex enterprise environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

• Financial services or regulatory reporting experience would be advantageous.
