IGM Financial Inc. is a leading wealth and asset management company in Canada, managing approximately $310 billion in assets as of December 31, 2025. It offers financial planning and investment services to over two million Canadians through IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments.

Mackenzie Investments, founded in 1967, is a key part of IGM's business model, serving as a comprehensive asset-management partner for Canadian financial advisors and their clients.

The Investment Management department of Mackenzie Investments is seeking a Director, Investment Research to build and run the data, quantitative and AI capabilities that support our boutique investment teams. Working closely with the AI platform lead, you will own the delivery and day-to-day reliability of the platform that portfolio managers and analysts rely on — the enterprise data hub, the MCP integration layer, AI agents and the cloud infrastructure behind them — and help shape its strategy and roadmap. You will also build and oversee the quantitative models, risk reports and performance attribution that inform portfolio decisions.

This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of investment research, data engineering and applied AI. You will work directly with portfolio managers and analysts across boutiques, and with enterprise technology, risk and vendor partners.
