Direct Care Worker

CareOne Senior Care is looking for caring and dependable individuals to provide in-home assistance and companionship to clients in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti  area .

Our caregivers help clients with everyday tasks and provide support that allows them to remain comfortable in their homes. We value individuals who are dependable, respectful, patient, and committed to providing a positive care experience.

As a caregiver, you will assist clients according to their individual care plans. Duties vary depending on the assignment and may include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal care, and support with daily routines.

  Provide companionship and friendly conversation.

  Assist clients with activities of daily living as assigned.

• →

  Help prepare meals and maintain a comfortable living environment.

  Complete light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.

• →

  Provide reminders and support with daily routines.

• →

  Assist with mobility and transfers when required and within your training.

• →

  Encourage appropriate activities and social interaction.

• →

  Follow client care plans and agency policies.

• →

  Observe and communicate concerns or changes in client needs to the office.

  Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.

  Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the CareOne team.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be dependable, respectful, and compassionate.

• Must be willing to complete background screening and TB testing.

• Must complete required onboarding and training.

• Must be able to follow instructions and communicate professionally.

• Valid driver's license, current registration, and auto insurance are required when transportation is part of the assignment.

• Previous caregiving or direct care experience is a plus.
