Responsibilities

→Safely operate power tools to ensure precise assembly, prevent defects and minimize risk of injury
→Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
→Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.
→Identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change.
→Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping.
→High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety.
→Willingness to learn multiple stations within the department.
→Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
30 + days of experience working onsite at a Carrier facility
1+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly
1+ years of experience reading blueprints, standard work instructions, bills of material, and precision measuring instruments

Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork
Solid mechanical background
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $30.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
