As a Senior Designer at CJ+C, you'll lead teams to deliver exceptional design projects, leveraging your creative vision and technical expertise to guide projects from concept through completion. With over 10 years of experience, you're a recognized leader in design-driven projects, excelling in user-focused experiences and empowering clients to bring their visions to life. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead assignments spanning conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- →Provide strategic design leadership, focusing on project organization, production, and execution.
- →Foster seamless collaboration with internal and external teams, professional consultants, and strategic partners.
- →Embrace an inside-out and outside-in design philosophy, contributing to iterative design processes with team members, using a wide variety of tools to communicate to the team and client, including hand sketching and 3d tools.
- →Craft compelling visions for proposals and strategies for interviews to secure project opportunities.
- →Mentor junior designers, leading multiple projects with excellence while collaborating with design and technical staff.
- →Build and sustain strong client relationships.
- →Work closely with your team and across the firm to promote an interdisciplinary design approach, upholding CJ+Cs commitment to design excellence and technical innovation.
Requirements
~1 min read- Registered Architect required.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited university required.
- 10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background in diverse project typologies and scales.
- Strong ability to communicate and present design concepts and their rationales.
- Skilled in addressing client needs, budget constraints, architectural opportunities, or challenges impacting design concepts.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications.
- Skilled in Revit, + SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exceptional graphics and visualization skills to effectively convey design ideas.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with key stakeholders.
