About this role:

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician provides advanced technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment, installing tooling, stabilizing lines and troubleshooting complex process issues. Working with limited supervision, this senior technical role is a key resource on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the installation, setup and fine-tuning of equipment, fixtures and tooling.
• Provides advanced technical support to operations to hold process standards and cycle times.
• Performs tests, measurements, capability studies and process documentation.
• Troubleshoots complex process and equipment issues and implements corrective actions.
• Builds and maintains process sheets, work instructions and visual aids.
• Supports line launches, trials and process-improvement projects.
• Provides guidance and training to less-experienced technicians and operators.

Required Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED
• 8+ years of experience as a manufacturing, process or equipment technician.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience installing, setting up and troubleshooting equipment, fixtures and tooling.
• 5+ years of experience reading and interpret blueprints, schematics, process sheets and work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two-year/associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, mechanical, electromechanical or a related field.
• HVAC industry experience 
• Strong working knowledge of measurement/inspection tools and capability studies.
• Experience applying Lean tools (5S, standard work) and structured problem-solving.
• Proven ability to work with limited supervision and guide other technicians
• Experience supporting new line launches and equipment commissioning.
• Knowledge of PLCs, automation and robotic cells.
• Lean / Six Sigma certification.
