Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of hydraulic components, brake systems, electrical systems, air systems, transmissions and related power train systems
  • Must have ability to rebuild pumps, piston pumps, motors ad valves
  • Must have good trouble shooting skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision
  • Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and service software
  • Must be able to complete service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills
  • Must be able to handle high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to occasionally operate heavy machinery
  • Must be able to additional hours to meet business and customer demands
  • Must be able to positively interact with supervisor and to understand problems and concerns relating to a repair
  • Requires good communication skills
  • Must be able to work as an integral part of a team

            • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. 
            • Frequently required to sit
            • Regularly lift and /or move up to 35 pounds
            • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
            • Experience in the function and repair of all hydraulic pumps
            • Pump, motor, valve and hydraulic cylinder rebuild experience preferred
            • Military equipment experience or the completion of a diesel school program a plus
            • High school diploma or GED required
