TRAINING INSTRUCTOR - ENGINES

• →Present class material in a meaningful, easy to understand manner to improve job skills
• →Evaluate students’ skill development and progress using appropriate methods
• →Prepare class training aids
• →Update existing technical training courses to incorporate the most current content and technology related to engines; May develop content if none exists
• →Work in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives
• →Perform other related duties as assigned

• Major engine repair or rebuild experience, preferred
• Experience presenting material in an engaging manner preferred, but training will be provided
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent driving record
• Willingness to travel frequently with overnight travel required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software

• Effective, clear, and concise presentation of class materials
• Adapting training methods to effectively address diverse learning styles and abilities
• Thorough evaluation of students’ skill development and progress
• Preparing training aids and instructional materials to enhance the learning experience
• Updating existing technical training courses to incorporate the most current content and technology related to engines
• Promoting a positive customer experience

• Regularly required to sit and talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Actual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. In addition to base pay, the compensation package may include participation in performance-based incentive programs (e.g., discretionary or non-discretionary plans), as well as overtime eligibility depending on the role.
