Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction: Teach undergraduate students in skills labs, simulation labs, and clinical organizations.
  • Evaluation: Provide both formative (ongoing) and summative (final) student performance reviews.
  • Mentorship: Help students connect classroom theory to hands-on clinical practice.
  • Development: Guide students in building critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
  • Alignment: Follow the philosophy, mission, and values of the Nursing Department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant field.
  • Licensure: Unencumbered Wisconsin RN license and Illinois licensure if needed.
  • Clearances: Must pass a criminal history and background check.
  • Certifications: Up-to-date CPR certification and required immunizations.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of health assessments, medications, treatments, and diagnoses.
