Join Casey’s in shaping a better future for our communities, guests, and team members as a Sourcing Analyst! In this role, you'll support the centralized Sourcing team by analyzing procurement data to identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities. Key responsibilities include spend analysis, supplier performance benchmarking, risk assessments, and market trend monitoring. The Sourcing Analyst maintains dashboards, tracks contracts, and presents insights to guide strategic, data-driven sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • →Analyze historical and forecasted spend data to uncover insights and identify sourcing opportunities. 
  • →Monitor trends, assess supplier capabilities, evaluate performance and develop alternative sourcing options and strategies. Conduct market research to identify best-in-class suppliers capable of meeting material and service requirements. 
  • →Prepare and manage Request for Quote/Proposal/Information (RFX) process to solicit competitive bids and evaluate vendors based on best-value criteria. 
  • →Support cross functional teams in planning and executing of RFx events within Coupa, ensuring alignment with sourcing objectives. 
  • →Partner with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices and processes. 
  • →Develop and maintain accurate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sourcing metrics to track and improve performance.
  • →Manage contract and risk matrix tracking and retention programs, identifying gaps and areas of risk.
  • →Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation: 

Starting pay range:‏‏‎ ‎$55,500‏‏‎ ‎-‏‏‎ ‎$72,900.‏‏‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations/supply chain management/business, or equivalent relevant work-related experience.
  • At least two years of experience in sourcing and procurement for direct/indirect categories.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, effectively demonstrating the value of collaboration and driving adoption for sourcing initiatives. 
  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills to optimize supplier portfolios while balancing cost, risk and performance trade-offs. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools to support informed decision-making.
  • Skilled in using e-sourcing and contract management platforms to execute efficient and compliant sourcing processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to create impactful reports and presentations.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the convenience store, restaurant and/or distribution industries.
  • Certifications in procurement and supply chain management, such as CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS.
