Type: Full‑Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30am–3:30pm | No Nights or Weekends
Pay: Starting at $17 per hour

Catholic Charities of Wichita is hiring Direct Support Professionals who want meaningful work supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and older adults in a warm, respectful Adult Day Services setting. What You Will Be Doing: 

• Consistent weekday schedule – evenings & weekends free
• Mission‑driven, supportive team
• Paid training and ongoing support
• Stable, full‑time hours
• Work that truly matters to people and families

Your Superpowers:

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient individuals
• Comfortable working with adults with disabilities or aging adults
• Able to perform moderately physical tasks
• Willing to learn—we provide training
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, education, or customer service is helpful but not required.

The Rhythm of the Role:

• Support adults with daily activities, independence, and self‑advocacy
• Help with personal care and hygiene respectfully and with dignity
• Participate in activities, instruction, and engagement
• Monitor and document basic health information (vitals, blood glucose as needed)
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment
• Work as part of a caring, collaborative team

What You Would Need to Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
• CNA or CMA preferred but not required
• Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months (if hired as a driver)
