Safety & Security Coordinator

As a Safety & Security Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day safety and security operations that protect our people, boutiques, assets, and brand across the UAE. Working closely with the Head of Safety & Security and key business stakeholders, you will coordinate operational activities, monitor compliance, support investigations and incident management, and contribute to the implementation of safety and security standards across our locations.

This role offers broad exposure to the luxury retail environment, corporate risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience. You will work cross-functionally with Boutiques, HR, Finance, Marketing, Store Planning and external partners to ensure that safety and security requirements are effectively implemented and maintained.

• Coordinate day-to-day safety and security activities across CHANEL boutiques, offices and other locations in the UAE, ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients and teams.
• Conduct regular site visits and follow up on identified safety and security risks, ensuring corrective actions are tracked through to completion.
• Support incident response activities, ensuring incidents are properly documented, escalated and followed up in line with established procedures.
• Coordinate and support security investigations, including fact-finding, evidence gathering, documentation and preparation of investigation reports.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety and security procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate safety and security arrangements for new locations, renovations, special events and other business projects.

• Monitor compliance with applicable UAE safety, security and other regulatory requirements across our locations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, including safety inspection documentation, Civil Defense certifications, Occupational Health Cards and other relevant regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and follow up on findings, corrective actions and required documentation.

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of safety and security training and awareness activities for employees and relevant stakeholders.
• Support the development and distribution of safety and security communications, guidelines and awareness campaigns.

• Coordinate with security, safety and other relevant service providers to ensure effective delivery of contracted services.
• Support the preparation and review of service documentation, reports and performance indicators.
• Assist with procurement activities, quotations, purchase orders and other administrative requirements related to safety and security services.

• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic or French is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• University degree in Security Studies, Risk Management, Criminology, International Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate security, safety, risk management, luxury retail or a related operational environment.
• Previous experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors or operational activities.
• Working knowledge of UAE safety and security regulatory requirements is preferred.
