Visual Merchandiser – Boutique Milano Sant’Andrea

In a demanding and constantly evolving environment, you will report to the Grand Milan VM Manager and work closely with the Visual Merchandising team. In line with the House strategy, you will be a true ambassador of CHANEL Style and Image, contributing to making CHANEL the ultimate reference in luxury.

Curious, agile and creative, you will be responsible for translating the spirit of the collections and the energy of the runway into the boutique. You will create a unique and memorable experience for every client, while ensuring that the House’s visual codes are consistently conveyed and respected.

Key Responsibilities

Creator of the CHANEL Experience

• Co-responsible for the quality of client welcome through the impeccable upkeep of the boutique, in line with established standards: organisation, visual merchandising and inventories.
• Understand and apply Visual Merchandising guidelines and boutique procedures.
• Ensure the boutique image is upheld and that windows are maintained to the highest standard, including display, cleanliness and lighting.
• Contribute daily to display maintenance and product replenishment.
• Be responsible for product labelling and price displays.
• Raise sales teams’ awareness of display standards and best practices.
• Ensure the quality and availability of tools used to showcase House products, including monitoring VM tool inventory, conducting regular reviews and communicating needs to management.

Ambassador of CHANEL Style

• Inspire desire and bring the CHANEL dream to life by elevating the presentation of collections, drawing on a strong knowledge of the House, its heritage, modernity and craftsmanship.
• Use and further develop your knowledge of luxury and fashion trends—both CHANEL and other Houses—to fuel your creativity and proactively bring forward ideas.
• Ensure display photo reporting is completed accurately and within the required deadlines.

Contributor to CHANEL Performance

• Manage your activity: understand your objectives and proactively propose action plans to achieve them.
• Use your knowledge of stock to help drive the boutique’s commercial performance.
• Actively participate in Morning Briefs and contribute ideas to support and enrich them.
• Share collection display and merchandising proposals with managers in advance.
• Draw on client feedback shared with Fashion Advisors about the collections and reflect it in display implementation.
• Ensure weekly product rotations within the boutique.
• Work very closely with Stock teams to support the efficient management and organisation of inventory.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years’ experience in Visual Merchandising, with a strong passion for the Fashion or Luxury industry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment.
• Proactive, open-minded and highly creative.
• Strong intercultural awareness.
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.

• Application of the National Collective Labor Agreement for the Commerce and Tertiary Sector (CCNL Terziario Commercio)

• Expected salary range: from 40,000 euro
