Registered Nurse - ICU

C-Care is currently looking for an ICU Nurse to join our dynamic and skilled multicultural healthcare team.

The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Head of Nursing and will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to delivering holistic, patient-centered care. 

• Manage caseload of patients ensuring patients have care plans following assessment
• Ensure continuity of high standard of care on evidence based practice to all patients (critically ill) patients
• Perform any technical task and assist doctors in relevant procedures, ensuring the patient’s safety at all times
• Ensure unit equipment is in working order and maintained.
• Ensure unit inventory is well stocked and correct.
• Ensure all patient care and interventions are accurately documented.
• Ensure all care is given in accordance to hospital protocols, procedures and guidelines.
• Assist resuscitation team in the event of cardiac arrest.

• Diploma in Nursing ( Recognised by the Nursing Council in Mauritius)
• Registered with Nursing Council of Mauritius
• At least 3-7 years of work experience
• Computer literate
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
