Indian River Hospital’s is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to the team who will support both the 5S Orthopaedics Unit and 5N Oncology Unit. In this role, you will help patients feel comfortable, at ease and supported while receiving treatment. With an emphasis on professional development and success, you will also encourage caregivers to enhance their skills and the patient experience through improvement initiatives and incentives. This position offers a great way to gain extensive leadership experience while continuing to provide the best support and treatment possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is looking to advance their career into a leadership role. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities

→Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
→Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
→Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
→Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
→Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
→Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
