As an Echo Laboratory Workleader, you will function as a primary technical resource for the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab and assist with day-to-day operations. You will direct and coordinate all aspects of the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab Quality Assurance Programs as well as oversee visiting physicians, sonographers and fellows and coordinate and direct continuing education training on new equipment and technology including stress echo and dobutamine. Performs Echo, Doppler, Color Doppler and 3D exams. This is a great opportunity for experienced techs to expand their capabilities and gain skills that not all Vascular Technologists have. Essential Duties: Interact with patients, family's physicians and other health care workers. Good hand coordination for positioning of probe and equipment. Good vision to analyze computer screens and VCR recordings to diagnose test results.

Physical Duties: Moderate lifting and positioning of patients. Moderate pushing and pulling of equipment. Working Conditions: 100% air conditioned. Moderate risk of exposure to blood or airborne pathogens.

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
