Indian River Hospital’s Outpatient Endoscopy Unit offers minimally invasive procedures to help physicians explore internal areas of the body. As a Nurse Manager on this team, you will work with closely with nursing caregivers acting as the point person for treatment plans and the care of patients. You will help resolve patient and family member issues and concerns, creating a positive experience for all involved. Because the medical special procedures area will also be expanding, you will have the opportunity to cover this area as well. Through collaboration with other caregivers and use of your strong critical thinking, multitasking and nursing skills, you will help to ensure proper patient care from start to finish. Ultimately, your dedication and leadership will help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience for everyone, whether they are patients, visitors, or fellow caregivers.

Requirements

Requires full range of motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye and hand coordination.
Requires frequent data entry, sitting, standing and walking.
Requires corrective vision and hearing to normal range.
Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
