An EMG Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional who performs electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) to assess muscle and nerve function, aiding in the diagnosis of conditions like neuropathy or ALS. In this role, you will learn to perform EMG examinations on patients of all ages and keep equipment in clean operating condition. Requirements

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time; must lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist with positioning and transporting patients, i.e., pushing beds, carts and wheelchairs.
Requires the ability to maneuver equipment and motor coordination to operate equipment.
Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Requires some exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
