Indian River Hospital’s Emergency Department has multi-disciplinary care teams, and the leading-edge technology needed to diagnose and treat patients effectively, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As Team Center Coordinator, you will provide top-quality customer service to patients, families and visitors to promote and support the best healthcare experience possible. You will perform various administrative and clerical duties to ensure efficient operational flow in your department while offering direct patient care under the supervision of an RN. Requirements

Requires frequent data entry, standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Mental Demands: Ability to work at a fast pace and prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests; ability to resolve conflicts among staff and to work collaboratively with department directors, physicians and other members of the Healthcare team; ability to ensure operational efficiency; ability to problem-solve and make decisions; ability to exercise self-control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requests and/or conflicting demands from multiple customers.
Special Demands: Needs minimal sustained direction in assessing needs, directing staff and carrying out departmental and professional responsibilities.
Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye/hand coordination; involves extensive standing and walking.
Medium Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force rarely, and/or 0 to 50 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires normal or corrected speech, hearing and vision.
Requires some exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
